Baseload Power Taiwan officially entered a collaboration with CPC Corporation, one of the largest state-owned enterprises with enormous influence in Taiwan. This new alliance will power the fight for climate change and contribute to Taiwan’s 2050 netzero goal.
According to a global study “The solution project” conducted by Stanford University, if Taiwan has 100% renewable energy mix in 2050, 30.4% shall be geothermal, which is higher than both solar plants being only 24% and offshore wind also being 24%. Together with CPC, Baseload Power Taiwan can make a huge difference taking the geothermal industry much closer to Stanford University’s estimates of geothermal output in Taiwan, and also making Taiwan a leading geothermal player on the global market.
Big thank you to all attendance: Chief Secretary Mrs. Chen of MOEA, Freddie Hoglund (CEO of European Chamber of Commerce), Petter Sund (Market Manager Taiwan, Business Sweden), Chief Secretary Ms. Wong from BOE, Mr. Fang, CEO of CPC, rest of CPC top management team and geothermal related departments and to our CEO Van Hoang and the rest of the team.
